What the template is for

A construction daily report creates a dated record of what a subcontractor’s crew did, what affected the work, and what happened on the jobsite. A working foreman or superintendent should complete it while names, times, quantities, and instructions are still fresh.

Fields to include every day

Use the same structure each day so the office can compare records and find missing information.

  • Project, date, report number, subcontractor, and preparer
  • Crew composition and labor hours
  • Work completed with locations and quantities
  • Delays, access restrictions, and hours affected
  • Deliveries, equipment, inspections, and safety
  • GC instructions, extra work, and supporting photos

Write facts, not conclusions

Record who, what, where, and when. Instead of “the GC delayed us,” write the location, the unavailable period, the direction received, and the estimated labor hours affected. The report should preserve evidence without guessing about entitlement or responsibility.

Create the report

Open the Odvero builder, enter the field facts, review the finished record, and use Print / Save PDF. Keep the saved report with the project’s normal records.
