Example work entry
Installed 420 feet of EMT on level 3, pulled branch-circuit conductors for rooms 310–318, and completed west-riser supports. This entry identifies quantities and locations instead of saying only “electrical work continued.”
Example delay and instruction
East corridor unavailable from 10:00 a.m. to noon per GC direction. Crew moved to the west riser; an estimated 10 labor hours were affected. The GC superintendent directed the crew to prioritize the west riser the next day.
Example deliveries and equipment
Six hundred feet of EMT delivered by City Supply at 8:15 a.m.; packing slip 18422. Scissor lift SL-04 remained in service.
Example inspection and safety
Above-ceiling rough-in inspection passed at 2:20 p.m. with City Inspector J. Lee. Pre-task planning and the toolbox talk were completed; no incidents or near misses were reported.
Example extra-work entry
GC requested two added receptacles in conference room 3B. Work not started; pricing requested. The entry records the request and current status without claiming that a change order has been approved.
